Well, Daddy, Mommy, and Junior decided to brave a Church Halloween Carnival for the first time. Junior was the cutest little garden gnome ever! Watch out travelocity gnome, you are about to be replaced!!! Junior at first was not sure about people giving him candy (the church had trunk or treating) but as soon as he realized he got to keep it and what it was he was more than happy to carry his own pumpkin bucket and dig through it at every chance he could. We vowed not to let him pig out on junk food, but gave in when he started getting sleepy and let him have a fun size candy bar. He loved tossing the bean bags into the holes, but his version instead of tossing then, he found it easier to crawl up the board slope and drop them in the holes or to walk up to the one's that were upright! He had so much fun and laughed and clapped every time he got to do
something new. Daddy even carried him up to the basketball goal and Junior scored his first slam dunk at the tender age of two!! Needless to say the little guy wore himself out. He even tried what i affectionately refer to as a redneck slide. Basically it was a carpet covered ramp sloaping down from the bed of a pickup that he slid down on riding a carpet covered plywood sled. Too bad he looked away just as I got his picture! Grab a hotdog and he was ready to head home. Our little gnome roamed for a bit and then crashed out without a fight (a rare thing nowadays) and is happily snoozing.
