I find myself missing my mom more and more. It was times like these when I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel that I could always give her a call and she would pull me back down to earth and give me that gentle (and sometimes not so gentle) nudge. She always knew just what i needed to hear to get my butt out of the depression and back on track. Whether it was kind words or a dose of tough love, she always knew just how to get through to me. I miss her simple country girl ways, her optimism, her strength, her unconditional love....

| from the stories i was told, this was a doll my grandfather bought my mom just because it was as big as she was. to hear family tell it, she was never without it. her dad was always that way, loved to spoil his kids, and later his grandkids. |
